Many people come to therapy seeking to gain a deeper understanding of the relationships
with themselves and others, to learn how to manage feeling depressed, anxious or fearful, or to cope
with trauma. It’s not always easy to ask for help, and I honor your courage in taking the first
step towards building a deeper understanding of your experiences.
I truly enjoy learning about my humanity and others, and feel that our most valuable growth
comes out of our relationships and meaningful connection. I approach life with a genuine sense of curiosity,
playfulness, and sense of humor, which I bring with me into the work we do together. As a
psychologist, I strive for transparency and openness to build our therapeutic relationship
on trust, honesty, and meaningful connection. Presence, transparency, openness and safety are cornerstones to transformative therapy. Though challenging at times, I will foster
a safe space to sit with vulnerability and difficult emotions. Together we’ll find ways to explore
crises and stressors in order to build a meaningful narrative of lived experiences and extract
meaning from pain and adversity.
Though I have a special interest in working with survivors of trauma, I work well with all
individuals who are seeking out meaningful change or are looking to make sense of their
circumstances.
